Back To Our Regularly Scheduled Program

Well... for the most part. ;) I should be back to my blogging self here shortly. I still have 5 orders to get out, and a Christmas present to sew and a couple to knit... oh, and a couple of cool something somethings for Zoe... I will share in due time.

I did finish knitting Angelina a scarf for Christmas! I will take a picture of her wearing it after she opens it. :D She will be thrilled!

Anyway. I had a great week!! Despite the craziness that I call orders. Mike was out of town a couple of days in California. So, my friend, Jen [pictures of her to come - one of these days] spent those nights with me. She even slept over! A true to life sleep over. Man! I hadn't had one of those since High School! LOL. We had a blast, though!! I taught her and her friend how to knit while we watched the movie, "Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2". Which was cute, by the way. :) That is when I finished Angelina's scarf. We stayed up too late, laughed a lot, and had a total blast! Jen is quickly becoming a fabulous friend. We just love to hang out - she lives across the street.... so we see each other daily... I call it "My Daily Jen". LOL!! It's great to have a friend. I know you all agree. ha ha.

Anyway. Last night, I spent some time alone after Angelina and I got home from the movie, and she and Zoe went to bed. Mike wasn't due home until midnight or so. I turned on my Twilight soundtrack quietly, and went to work on a present that, unfortunately I can't share the entire thing now... but, here is a sneak...

Once the thing is gifted and opened, I will share the entire picture. :)

I feel like this holiday is going by like a blur!

Pretty soon, there will be a bunch of presents under this tree.

Now I feel like I can enjoy the Christmas season... less than 6 days of enjoyment left. Angelina's last day of school was today. She is now off for Christmas break. She won't go back until the NEW YEAR! Whoa! I can't believe we have less than 2 weeks until 2009. That is really insane. This year has flown by.

For now, I am off to work on my projects. Angelina is going to open gym tonight... so, I think Zoe, Mike and I might go out to Target and Joann's... or something. :)

xoxo,

Shealynn

P.S. Ricci, I tried the Salted Caramel Hot Chocolate at Starbucks last night... it is really good. However. It was way to chocolatey for me. I couldn't drink but half of it. Way better than I thought, though. ;) Chai Latte is still my favorite, though.

on the hot chocolate note... try it with 1/2 the pumps of chocolate. Starbucks always is way to rich. 2 pumps instead of 4 is superb. However I still like my vanilla latte better too. Great job on your business. Here is your Whoot whoot!!!

Ha! I know every time I try it it's a little bit different, I love it still though, and I don't like their Chai tea or vanilla lattes so it just goes to show how everybody's tastebuds are different! At least there is something for everyone! Try to enjoy your Christmas girlie, soon it'll be all over and you'll miss it!
