1. I was born in Tulsa, OK.  I lived there for a year or less, and then we moved to California.  Lived there for 23 years, moved from there to North Carolina.  Lived there for 3 years and now we live in the ultra super overly ridiculously hot Arizona.  :)

2.  Things I love the smell of [some weird some not] ... brand new tires, gasoline, 3 stroke exhaust [quad runners, dirt bikes, etc], fresh cut grass, creosote during the rain, fire wood, brand new books, brand new car smell, and the ocean.  There is more, but those are my favorites.

3.  There was a time - not so long ago - that I hated to read.  *gasp*

4.  I started a small dog rescue when we lived in North Carolina.  First dog I rescued was my [at the time] Great Dane, Azlyn.  I loved her more than any other dog I've ever had [sorry Luna].  We had to find Azlyn a new home, though, because she did not like small animals of any kind.  I cried for months over her.  Sometimes I still get teared up when I think about her.  One day I want another Great Dane.  A baby puppy this time.  They're my favorite breed of dog.

5.  My husband Mike and I will be celebrating our 8 Year Anniversary next month!!  :D

6.  I secretly [not now] love to mow the lawn.  I am obsessed with watching the grass "shrink" after the mower rolls over it.  I used to watch Mike mow for that reason.  It's weird, I know.  I do not like to mow the lawn when it's summer time here.  No thank you.  I don't want to die doing it.  LOL!

7.  I LOVE Escargot!  [do NOT knock it til you try it!  I thought it was going to be nasty... nope.  SOOOOO GOOD!!]

OK, now I'm nominating...

OK, book clubbers!  Chat tomorrow night!  Same time... 7:30ish.

Also... I am changing things up!  Since just about ALL of you are superstars and finished BOTH books already, I am adding a 3rd book to the month from now on!  All months, EXCEPT December.  ;)  I will announce what the 3rd book is for November tomorrow during our chat.  Also... plan on Twitter again.  I know.  Twitter sucked big time last week.  But, I have been slowly looking into things for tomorrows chat that would be better... so when I find it, I will let you know.

Are there any book clubbers who are *not* on Twitter?  I know I got at least 30 sign-ups but we don't have 30 on Twitter... please please please comment on this post if you're not participating in the weekly chats just so I know.

There will be TWO separate giveaways tomorrow!!!!

Thanks, everyone!  I am off to read a book for a review!!  Lots to read.

Night!

I love the smell of fresh cut grass. Yankee Candle sometimes has a candle with that scent during the summer. I buy as many as I can when I find it.
I also love the smell of my boys & husband after they've been fishing. No, not the nasty fishy smell. But the faint aroma of sitting outside all day in the sun with just the hint of being near fish. It reminds me of my childhood & I love it. Yeah, I know. The hubs thinks I'm odd too!
