An Adventure For Your Mind GIVEAWAY!

Yep. I am giving 2 winners an adventure for their mind!
That is how I view books. :) Each one is a new adventure for my mind.
I love nothing more than to sit on my couch and get lost in an unrealistic
adventure. Can't think of a better way to spend some ME time, down time, or night
time on the couch. Any Free time really. ha ha!

Well, HarperTeen has been oh so kind to me. And today, they are being incredibly kind and

No better busy to me than being busy reading!

Anyway! Do you want to know what HarperTeen is offering to TWO lucky winners???

Yes! I said TWO!

What draws me to a book are the characters. I love supernatural stuff and also characters that are just different somehow.

and....

I choose my books mainly on the story lines from the back of the book, and occasionally follow the recommendations from other writers I really like. For example, if Kelley Armstrong or Richelle Mead have a blurb on the book, or if they recommend them from their websites or fantasticfiction.com.

The cover of a book is what initially attracts me to a book. If the cover looks boring or unattractive I am less likely to read it (I know I know...you shouldn't judge a book by its cover)

Usually I am drawn to a book by a friend's suggestion or a really good story that just sucks me in. If I read one author's book and like it, I usually have to read all books by that author.

What draws me to the book?- the cover usually does the magic. For instance, the cover for The Forest of Hands and Teeth, the minute I saw it I knew I wanted to read that book. I wasn't dissapointed either. In general I don't like to know anything about a book, I just want a good recommendation, so I rarely read dust jackets (too many spoilers)

I generally pick up a book based on the cover, blogger reviews/recommendations, if it is an author that I've read previously, or if I like the plot summary. I have lots of books on my TBR pile, so I try to be selective!
